We opened The Vortex to have fun. Period. That was our entire business plan. We had absolutely no idea what we were getting ourselves into. And we had no background in the bar business. We learned by doing. There is no doubt that opening, operating and growing this business has been a lot of hard work. But it has also been a labor of love, and the best time of our lives.
