We are Ara Manawa. An interdisciplinary studio for research and innovation inside Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai. Ara Manawa champions the needs of users in the design of new spaces, services and products via the application of human centred design methodology, ensuring the experiences and input of patients, whānau and staff are central throughout the design process. We also work to solve problems in healthcare by connecting them with students at New Zealand's leading design schools; in turn providing the designers of tomorrow real world opportunities to create positive change. With expertise across spatial, digital, product and service design, we are able to support a wide range of design projects across the Te Toka Tumai Auckland.
