We bridge key industries with identified skill gaps to young teens in small school districts through an engaging, active and strategic event series. We encourage local business to explore outreach opportunities in their local school systems and students to look at a variety of pathways available to them in high demand lines of work including trade skills, manufacturing, health care, technology security and energy.
Our focus is on a series of 3 events with a goal of inspiring teens to think about their role in this world after high school as well as exposing businesses and training centers to the next generation of the workforce.
Our first series showcases CONSTRUCTION & MANUFACTURING.
We work in tandem with school efforts to create liaisons with high demand industry in Michigan. Career awareness programs like Pathway X work to ensure a higher level of interest in middle school students so they are prepared to take the next steps toward a career in manufacturing or construction.
