Founded in 2008, the Stelos Alliance is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission of helping extraordinary young leaders reach their potential. Currently, the Stelos Alliance offers various scholarship each spring to student leaders at Texas State. In 2011, the Housley Principled Leadership Program was launched - a course in principled leadership development geared toward empowering students to excel at the university level. It is currently offered at Texas State University as a semester long course in the fall through the Honors College. In 2012, the Stelos Fellows Program was created to offer students a different kind of assistance. Sometimes, more than scholarship dollars, students need experience. We believe the Stelos Fellows Program provides the best of both worlds.
