West Michigan Community Bank got it's start in 1976 when a group of leading Hudsonville citizens joined forces to establish a bank focused on the needs of local businesses and individuals. Local decision-making was a key driver behind the launch, which received strong support from residents and business owners alike.
Initialy known as the Bank of Hudsonville, we were founded on the same principals that make West Michigan an excellent place to live, work and raise a family - strong work ethic, prudent fiscal stewardship and the willingness to always lend a helping hand. Our team lives and works in the community. Our children attend the schools. Bank employees attend church and volunteer at numerous non-profit organizations.
Much has changed since 1976. We have a new name, new ownership, and new management. We have added new service lines, enhanced our technology, added employees, and opened new branches to make banking easier and more convienient. But our core values and principles have not changed, and we are still focused on the West Michigan community. Our employees are knowledgeable and responsive. We listen and we care about the success of our customers.
