The Projects
You could call us the Airbnb ánd Wikipedia for sustainability projects. Our free app connects small NGOs and local communities with citizens and organizations globally. Together they work on projects that positively impact the local environment.
The Ecosystem
Our community goes further after a project is finished. It’s based on the philosophy of ecosystems. Small nonprofits, local communities, citizens, companies, governments, movements, and scientific and educational institutes are all connected. They’re part of a constantly evolving community in which the exchange and enrichment of knowledge are paramount. Each entity benefits from the other, leading to a social and sustainable world for future generations.
Example
40 happenings, spread along the Caribbean ocean and aimed to grow coral, were successfully completed with the help of many fellows. A university in marine biology is looking for such projects for sustainable research purposes. They want to measure the impact of the new coral on the fish population, coastal protection, and wave breaking.
Local Happinez offers these projects to the university and connects them to the NGOs that have been responsible for the happenings. To develop new insights in the field of coral growth and its impact on its environment.
