Hope for the Children of Haiti is a 501(c)3 organization which owns and operates a Christian orphanage and school In Bolosse, an impoverished neighborhood in Port-au-Prince. We currently care for 37 orphaned children and provide top-quality, affordable education to approximately 200 children. The school and orphanage are managed by Dr. Jacob Bernard, a well-respected Haitian Christian leader, who studied in the United States and received his PhD at the University of North Texas before returning to his homeland. Under his direction, the dedicated Haitian teachers and staff supervise the daily activities of the school and orphanage. HFC is governed by a U.S. based board of directors who volunteer their time and are dedicated to seeing the mission of HFC realized. Board members are actively involved in the operation of HFC, yet firmly believe in partnering with Haitians to transform their culture for Christ. OUR MISSION Hope for the Children of Haiti is called by God to give Haitian children the opportunity to become well-rounded adults who are self-sufficient in Christ.
