The EEB is the environmental voice of European citizens. We stand for environmental justice, sustainable development and participatory democracy. Our aim is to ensure the EU secures a healthy environment and rich biodiversity for all.
Created in 1974, the EEB is now Europe's largest federation of environmental groups with over 140 member organisations spread across the EU. This means we are guided by the voices of more than 15 million European citizens.
We work on a vast array of environmental issues from energy and climate to farming and sustainable development, from eco-design to chemicals, and from biodiversity to EU governance.
