Anthony Vieira, a 10,000 hour Helicopter Pilot, Hummingbird Helicopter Services Limited commenced operations with the provision of Passenger and Ground Handling Services to esteemed clients in the local Helicopter Industry. This service included passenger, baggage and freight screening as well as aircraft dispatch and handling. The demand for Hummingbird’s services grew to include the provision of Contract Pilots and Engineers to the Helicopter Industry. Hummingbird, through its visionary Managing Director Captain H. Anthony Vieira was the first Company to introduce offshore survival training for the energy sector to Trinidad and Tobago and the region in 1997. Having established a name for quality, efficiency and reliability, Hummingbird’s services on offer grew further to encompass other ancillary services required by the industry such as Aviation Security Services (Training and Manpower), Property and General Management Services. Based on the exponential increase in the demand for services provided by Hummingbird, it became necessary to create divisions dedicated to the various services on offer.
