The Pickering Football Club Inc. (PFC) is a registered non-profit organization incorporated in September of 1984. As a volunteer-based, non-profit, community organization, the PFC currently employs both full-time and part-time staff who rely heavily upon our 500+ community volunteers annually. The PFC also support the Board of Education’s Community Service mandate for local high school students giving back to the community as coaches. The PFC’s mission is to create and enhance opportunities to participate, develop, and excel in the sport of soccer, while promoting an active lifestyle.
PFC is one of Durham’s largest soccer Clubs boasting in excess of 3000 members, with a strong presence in All Abilities, Recreational, Competitive and High Performance standards-based programming. We currently have two boys and two girls teams in OPDL and a men's and women's team in L1O.
We are a 2016 OSA Club Excellence Gold recipient as well as Durham Parent Magazines readers choice as favourite soccer Club! The PSC has been a staple in the Durham community for over 30 years and is only getting stronger as its brand is now strengthened by the state-of-the-art, fully accessible Pickering Soccer Centre and office space.
