The Livelihood, Economic & Agriculture Development Organization (LEADO) is a non-profit organization, established a decade ago, and headquartered in Rocklin, California. LEADO decreases poverty by empowering communities across developing economies through the promotion of economic and agricultural development. We believe that every household should have access to information on best practices, tools to work effectively, training to optimize production and yield, and finance to increase their earned income. LEADO creates interventions on the level of beneficiaries, households, communities, and nations for the development of society at-large.
To date, LEADO has trained over 81,000 farmers and 19,000 women to develop independent sources of income, created over 26,500 orchards, livestock, poultry, fish farms and hatcheries, achieved over 36% commodity price increase across agricultural value chains, with over $25 million USD annual increase in beneficiary income across its projects.
