The Ridges Sanctuary is Wisconsin's oldest nonprofit nature preserve. We protect over 1600 acres of land in Door County, WI. Well-known for its diversity of wildflowers, including 29 species of native orchids, the Sanctuary also provides critical habitat for other rare species, including the federally-endangered Hines Emerald dragonfly.
