The Sutton Hoo Ship's Company is a charity based in the Longshed, Woodbridge, Suffolk, who are building a full sized, sea-going, replica of the ship found in the Sutton Hoo burial mound. The project involves a large number of volunteers who are learning traditional woodworking skills and using hand-made tools to build the boat in the same way we believe the original boat-bulders did.
