Community Living provides support for people with intellectual disabilities.
Since it's inception in 1989, Community Living has persistently sought innovative and diverse ways to respond to the individual needs of people with intellectual disabilities (including: Autistic Spectrum Disorder, multiple disabilities, high & complex behaviours and offending histories) within their communities in the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Taranaki and greater Midland region.
Based in Hamilton, Community Living currently support more than 800 individuals of all ages and own over 35 houses and units specifically for the use of people we support.
Community Living employs more than 500 people in various part-time and full-time roles. However, irrespective of the nature of their roles or positions, they are all here to work in partnership with people with disabilities, their whanau/family and the broader community to facilitate each person living their dreams through community connections.
