AMECO was founded in Greenville, South Carolina in 1947 as part of Daniel Construction, a U.S. regional construction company and general contractor. Fluor acquired Daniel Construction in 1977, and AMECO served as the tool and equipment division for the global engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm and other clients until spinning off as an independent company in 2021. In 2022, AMECO rounded out our complete Site Services offering with the acquisition of F&M MAFCO.
