Electrify Boroondara Inc. (Electrify Boroondara) is a community led alliance of individuals, businesses, educators, community, sport, and faith groups, and elected representatives assisting the Boroondara community in Melbourne’s inner east to electrify our homes, buildings and transport. Together we are working to realise Boroondara Council’s ambitious goal of reducing carbon emissions in the community to net zero by 2035. We are doing this by informing and encouraging our community to: -Increase the uptake of rooftop solar and batteries -Reduce the use of gas by transitioning to electric appliances -Increase the uptake of electric vehicles and ebikes -Improve the energy efficiency of new and existing housing stock, apartments, and other buildings.
