The Policy Centre Jersey has the objectives of increasing knowledge about, and civic engagement in, Jersey and thereby contributing to a more effective policy making with better outcomes for the people of Jersey. The Policy Centre Jersey has the objectives of improving knowledge about and civic engagement in Jersey by: Increasing the opportunities for people in Jersey to become more knowledgeable about and involved in public policy. Publishing electronically brief up-to-date papers on all aspects of Jersey (history, economy, constitution, geography etc) aimed particularly at schools/colleges and Universities. Publishing summaries of key policy issues and easy access to relevant papers and research. Commission and undertake authoritative research on policy issues and the policy making process. Provide a forum for discussion on policy issues and the operation of the political machinery.
