On July 25, 2021, we lost our only child, Kenli Riney, in a horrific automobile accident. At the scene of her accident, while her car was being engulfed in flames, a passerby was able to remove Kenli from the car. Not one inch of Kenli’s body was burned, though the passerby sustained burns to his body in removing her. This gentleman and his 14-year-old daughter performed CPR on Kenli, and when it was evident she was gone, together they prayed her into Heaven to ensure she did not die alone.
After Kenli’s passing, we learned that Kenli impacted thousands of lives. She lived her motto of “Be kind; Share Christ.®” This tragedy and the remarkable heroic acts of passersby have inspired us to let Kenli’s sparkle live on through this foundation. This is a non-profit, scholarship granting foundation geared toward youth who have performed heroic acts or acts of extreme kindness. Interested individuals may be nominated or personally apply. Sincerely,
Kevin & Marjohn Riney
