Heinz Krasny took over the reins of the company 1960. The business gradually expanded to include basic materials and emulsions, and the distribution network grew to include partners and AKRAS offices all over the world. The company was renamed AKRAS Flavours AG in 1998. At the same time subsidiary sales companies were also established to bring the parent company closer to its customers. Since 2004, the company has been led by Martin Krasny, the 3rd generation of the Krasny family to run AKRAS with great passion and innovative ideas.
