VALUE+: Blueplasma Power has a patented technology to convert into CO2-free Hydrogen and Circular Ultra-Low CO2 footprint Carbonates the very difficult waste to valorize (mixed plastics, textiles, foams, paper, solid digestate …) that nowadays are going to landfilling or incinetarion. We can do it on-site, at small scale and very profitably. Some of the Circular Carbonates we can produce are sodium carbonate -soda ash-, sodium bicarbonate, ptassium carbonate, among others.
Therefore we solve 2 main problems:
1) Circularity: Not only do we avoid the landfilling and the high economic cost of having to manage the waste, but we also obtain a valuable product from it: CO2-free hydrogen and Ultra-Low CO2 footprint Carbonates (with a reduction of up to 85% in the CO2 footprint compared to standard industrial processes.
2) Decarbonization: By reducing fossil energy consumption with Zero CO2 emissions and with lower CO2-free footpint raw materials (sodium carbonate -soda ash- and/or sodium hydroxide -caustic soda or lye- among others)
VALUE+ pilot plant was co-financed by the European Commission Projects (H2020 and LIFE) 2016-2020 with more than 1,000 hours of operations testing many feedstocks.
Potential Customers:
i) Bio-methane Plants: We can convert solid digestate into CO2-free Hydrogen
ii) Manufactoring industries: We reduce gas natural consumption by replacing it with the CO2-free Hydrogen generated on-site with their own waste (Bio-Methane plants, Pulp&Paper, Plastic industries,....) and Circular Carbonates as sodium carbonate -soda ash- and/or sodium hydroxide -caustic soda or lye- among others.
GAS+: Natural gas steam reforming to produce hydrogen at atmospheric pressure and moderate temperature. This process is capable to reduce the use of natural gas up to 20%.
