The Dominican Corporation of State Electrical Companies (CDEEE) is a holding that result of the transformation emerged that experienced the Dominican Corporation of State Electrical Companies (CDEEE) with the Electricity Law number 125-01 of 26 July 2001.
Its functions are to lead and coordinate the utilities carry out state programs for electrification in rural and suburban communities for low-income, and the administration and enforcement of contracts for electrical energy supply with independent power producers.
The CDEEE finances its activities with resources allocated to the Law on Public Expenditure, with financing and other specialized funds allocated.
