Since 2000, we are an internationally recognized NGO promoting the universal abolition of the death penalty around the world. We fight capital punishment by advocating with public authorities, by strengthening the abolitionist civil society, by creating and distributing publications, and by supporting death row inmates. We federate the abolitionists to gain efficiency and accelerate the movement towards the universal abolition of capital punishment. We created the World Congress Against the Death Penalty, which is organized every three years (Strasbourg 2001, Montreal 2004, Paris 2007, Geneva 2010, Madrid in 2013 and Oslo in 2016) in the presence of several thousands of abolitionists from all around the world (civil society, politicians ...).
