The mission of the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival is to organize a high-quality major festival with the assistance of volunteers. The Festival’s hot air balloon and arts and culture components will give the whole family an opportunity to enjoy some healthy fun in a sustainable environment; its reach will add to Gatineau’s reputation across Quebec, Canada and the rest of the world, and benefit its economy through the new tourist attractions.
