The Society of Heads is a welcoming, collegiate and supportive community of independent schools who evolve their approach to learning by sharing ideas and experiences. The overarching aim is to help provide appropriate and balanced curriculums within schools, which actively foster and develop key attributes in pupils. The marriage of traditional qualities with modern educational theory is the foundation for how this progressive society is led. In the ever-changing landscape of today’s society, schools have a duty to prepare its pupils for an uncertain future. In working collaboratively with other independent schools nationally, sharing ideas of best practice, we can ensure that the students of today have the best chance of thriving in tomorrow’s future. Having a platform to develop effective partnerships between independent schools is key to ascertaining the innovations and opportunities which work best for our pupils, and The Society of Heads provides the ideal platform for this. The Team at The Society of Heads facilitates events and conferences to bring members together. The Team also organises Professional Development training and also ensures that members are kept up to date with the latest sector news.
