The Moroccan style Al Asalla Spa invites members to a world of ethereal privacy, while the Childcare Centre ensures their children are in trusted hands at all times. Dubai Ladies Club has initiated several programmes that contribute to the community’s wellbeing. The ‘Complete Woman’ programme launched in 2006 acknowledges the achievements of women and contributes to their social, cultural, mental, or physical skills. In 2006 the club introduced the Sheikha Manal Young Artist Award for emerging artists in the UAE, the award aims to create a greater awareness of the UAE’s artistic heritage and to specifically promote interest in local art, the Club is also mandated with the task of supervising childcare centres for national working mothers in the government sector to meet the needs of working women and their children at the workplace. Keeping the community in mind, the club patronises the UAE Down Syndrome Support Group to actively support the needs of the physically and mentally challenged members of the society.
