UES develops scholarship, community, and leadership in economics at The George Washington University.
Through our keystone membership development program, we channel resources to our members while creating and refining core competencies in professional and practical areas. Participating students leave with polished professional presences, research skills, and a strategy for truly engaging with the district.
We also offer research experiences through our "in-house" think tank, the Economics Research Institute, which offers internships and research experiences through multiple thematic programs and projects each semester.
Finally, members have the opportunity to develop and submit school and ERI research to the organization's two peer-reviewed publications, the Capitol Economics Journal and the Journal of International Political Economy.
