Hummingbird Lifestyle Travel’s great history began in 1947 when Swedish newspaper companies started a tour operator that specialized in theme trips under the name “Pressresor” (Press Travel). As pioneers in arranging trips in and out of Europe following the second World War, this premium travel provider has since expanded to various destinations in North, Central and South America, cruises in the waterways of the Galapagos Islands, adventures in Africa, wine and gourmet tours in France and Italy and discovery tours throughout China and other parts of Asia. Under the guidance of new ownership in 2007, Pressresor was aptly re-named “Hummingbird”.
