The company was founded on 6 January 2014 following the merger by incorporation into Fondiaria-Sai of the companies Milano Assicurazioni, Unipol Assicurazioni and Premafin, financial holding of the former Fondiaria-SAI Group. UnipolSai operates nationwide with over 3,000 agencies and more than 6,000 sub-agencies through which it offers a complete range of insurance solutions to over 10 million customers, making it the first insurance company in Non-Life business and the absolute leader in MV insurance.
