Business Excellence Australia (BEA - formerly known as the Australian Organisational Excellence Foundation) is dedicated to promoting excellence and sustainable improvement. BEA is a not-for-profit organisation that will focus on the development and recognition of organisations and individuals in the pursuit of excellence. BEA supports businesses, government and the community services sector to embed proven international excellence concepts such as Excellence Models, Scorecards, Lean Six Sigma Methodologies etc. into their organisations. BEA manages the Business Excellence Awards (formerly known as the Australian Organisational Excellence Awards) which recognise the achievement of organisations committed to excellence. The Awards continue a proud tradition of Excellence Awards that dates back to 1987. The Awards are based on internationally-benchmarked criteria for excellence and is recognised as Australia’s premier excellence awards through membership of the exclusive Global Excellence Model Council (GEM).
