The Galician Health Service (Servizo Galician Galego de Saúde), also known by its acronym SERGAS, is the body of the autonomous administration of Galicia (Spain) in charge of public health care in this autonomous community. It was created in 1989 by the transfer competencies in health to the Board of Galicia.
Integrates all health centers and services of the Galician regional government, over which it exercises its leadership and management in order to ensure health care. It is an autonomous administrative body led by the Ministry of Health and Social Services Board of Galicia.
