Prism Resources began as a tech-share service in 1991 to help student’s access resources that they otherwise would not be able to access. As part of this initiative, Prism Resource labs were opened on campus, where the technology provided was far more advanced than that available throughout the rest of campus.
Prism Resources has expanded since 1991 with Training Services and Sponsorship. We provide our members with access to affordable training in industry-related software. In addition, we provide financial and equipment sponsorships to make the events our members want to see happen. Today, Prism Resources continues to operate with these 3 key services as the main pillars of our operations. The rental fleets that Prism Resources offers currently consists of Dell laptops, Apple MacBook Pros, DSLR cameras, tablets, projectors, presentation remotes, and cell phone chargers. As technology continues to develop, we are updating our rental fleet to include the most relevant technologies for our members. The rental services continue to be widely used, with most equipment being consistently rented out all term.
