SIMHAPURI ENERGY PRIVATE LIMITED Simhapuri Energy Private Limited (SEPL), incorporated on December 2, 2005 with main objective of Construct, Operate and maintain Thermal Power Plants. The Company was promoted by Madhucon Group. SEPL is envisaging development of a coal based thermal power project of ultimate capacity of 1920 MW in Three Phases at Tamminapatnam and Mommidi Villages, Chillakur Mandal, SPSR Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh. The project would be implemented in three phases of Phase-I (2X135 MW), Phase-II (2X150 MW) and Phase-III (2X660 MW) each. The implementation of the project has already started. Phas - I is in advanced stage in erection and the Civil and Structural Works are in progress for Phase - II. EPL is the first power project to obtain all clearances in the Krishnapatnam Port area well ahead of the other power projects that are proposed to be set up in the Krishnapatnam Port area.
