Presenting contemporary art in craft materials by international, national and regional artists since 1971, Contemporary Craft offers innovative exhibitions focused on multicultural diversity and contemporary art, as well as a range of artist-led, hands-on workshops, community outreach programs and a store featuring handcrafted art objects by artists from across the United States. Contemporary Craft is a not-for-profit organization based in Pittsburgh, PA with a free admissions policy. In 2019, Contemporary Craft is excited to embark on a transformational move with the purchase of a property in Pittsburgh’s Upper Lawrenceville neighborhood and to transform it into a place of art, inspiration, and creativity.
