Adoption Focus is a dedicated and experienced voluntary adoption agency based in the West Midlands, rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted at every inspection. Our overarching vision is loving and supportive family life for every child. In the last 10 years we have placed more than 420 children with new adoptive families. We believe all children should have a loving and stable family home. We work with individuals, couples and families from all backgrounds to achieve this for children who need to be adopted. We recruit, prepare and assess prospective adopters. As soon as they are approved, we work with local authorities from across the country to place children with them. The children who need new families are as varied as the adopters who want to care for them. Adoption Focus specialises in finding families for children considered ‘harder to place: children aged four and over; children in sibling groups; children from black, Asian and minority ethnic groups; and children with disabilities. We specialise in adoption and offer lifelong support for all of our families – from the moment prospective adopters first contact us and through the years ahead, as the children transition through to adulthood. 'Nurture the Journey' is a bespoke package, tailored to the needs of each family and is the cornerstone of our support programme. This support is available to all of our adopters and their children indefinitely, whenever and for as long as they need them.
