We create opportunities to help young men and women help themselves out of poverty. Some 500 million young men and women live on less than $2 a day. We help them with the skills to become independent. We aim to create opportunities for nearly 200,000 people to be healthy, secure and resilient by 2020. Youth unemployment is a global threat to economic and social stability. We change lives by giving 15-24 year olds access to skills, finance and networks in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, UK, and Ireland. Two thirds of young people in developing countries have no stable work or education.
