SMALL WORLD FILMS is an Atlanta-based production studio focused on social impact storytelling. We believe that stories told well have the power to raise awareness, incite action, and create positive and sustainable social change around the world.
Here at SMALL WORLD FILMS, we produce independent documentary films, photo- and video-journalism, and print campaigns. Some of our recent projects have brought attention to how a repeal of the DACA policy would affect 800,000 young immigrants across the US and how communities in Sierra Leone coped with the most devastating natural disaster to strike their country in this century. We tackle issues big and small, at home and abroad, and partner with top post-production experts to support storytellers from the earliest drafting phase to the final product. This year, we're thrilled to be moving into post-production on our first feature-length documentary film, THE BURNING, a character-driven documentary on Africa's migrant and refugee crisis that has been many years in the making.
If you're interested in learning more about how we can help you visualize your story or design a social impact campaign around a story that you already have in the works, please send us a message at contact@smallworldfilms.org and we'll get back to you shortly.
