The Center for People in Need provides the basic needs and educational opportunities necessary for low-income individuals and families to improve their lives.
Our services include regular food and diaper distributions, a Care Room offering gently-used and new clothing and household goods, free English Language Learning classes, the POP scholarship program, Opening Doors community reentry program, EduTech career development program and non-monetary client assistance to help families in need navigate and apply for government programs and assistance (like the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly known as food stamps).
