The government of Sindh has established the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Sakrand (1st in Sindh Province & 2nd in Pakistan) chartered by Govt of Sindh on 13th Sep 2012 (SINDH ACT NO. XV OF 2012). The university has been established for the purposes of the development of veterinary and animal sciences in the province of Sindh by ensuring proper and systematic instruction, training, research, and extension in modern systems of veterinary and animal sciences and its allied sciences.
