The Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) is a leading and respected North East charity which supports the development of individual and community capacity by creating opportunities to improve the health, wellbeing and life chances of disadvantaged communities. Our mission is 'Health, wellbeing and learning for all'.
PCP delivers a range of projects and services to businesses, community groups and individuals across the County Durham, Tees and Sunderland. In addition we also manage a 'one stop shop' healthy living centre, the Pioneering Care Centre in Newton Aycliffe. The Pioneering Care Centre offers a range of service and activities to help people of all ages and abilities to improve their health and wellbeing. As well as being home to one of the North East's only publicly accessible hydrotherapy pools. The centre hosts a number of tenants and outreach services, including NHS clinics, a nursery, a GP and pharmacy.

• Wellbeing for Life Health Trainers (supporting individuals to improve health and wellbeing)
• BBO Road (supporting individuals in County Durham to develop new skills and improve their confidence with
the aim of supporting them back into work)
• Step Forward Tees Valley (supporting individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles)
• Healthwatch (supporting residents of County Durham, Stockton and Sunderland to voice their opinions on
health and social care services)
