The original Ross Hill vines were planted in 1994 on Griffin Road in Orange NSW – the ideal region to grow cool climate wines - by Peter and Terri Robson. Their son James and wife Chrissy joined them in 2006 to take over the day-to-day running of the business and purchased a cherry and apple orchard on Wallace Lane. They converted 5 hectares into vineyards and the old apple packing shed into a state-of-the-art winery and cellar door. Ross Hill Wines is proud to be Australia’s first carbon neutral certified winery.
