Since 1977, the Authors’ Licensing and Collecting Society (ALCS) has ensured writers are treated fairly. We support their creativity and rights, and pay them money when people use their work. Over 95,000 members across the world trust us to collect and pay the money they’re entitled to. We also promote and teach the principles of copyright, and campaign for a fair deal.
