Viña Requingua is a family winery located in the area of Sagrada Familia, in Curico Valley, Chile, which was founded by Santiago Achurra-Larraín in 1961. At that time, only 50 hectares of vineyards were planted at our Sagrada Familia Estate, and vinification’s facilities consisted on a small 400,000-liter winery with wooden tanks and dirt floors.
Today, the Company handles over 1,055 hectares of vineyards located in the Colchagua, Curicó and Maule Valleys, and our wine cellar has a capacity of 18 million liters, which fully correspond to stainless steel. Additionally we have a barrel room that currently houses 4.000 barrels barrels of French and American oak.
