From 1937 until today, the Ambrì Piotta Hockey Club has been a professional member of the National League (NL), the highest national championship organized by the Swiss Ice Hockey League. Based in Ambrì, Switzerland, the team has faced 74 seasons in National League A and in 2019, Ambrì qualified for the first time in its history for the Champions Hockey League. HCAP was also invited to participate in the 93rd Spengler Cup, the Christmas tournament held every year in Davos. From August 2021, however, the completion of a new smart and multifunctional stadium is expected, which will host the future biancoblu home matches, that for safety reasons, will be replacing the old stadium. With a capacity of 7,000 spectators, it will be called Valascia Immobiliare.
