Leap Confronting Conflict is a youth charity with over 35 years of experience delivering programmes that transform the way conflict is navigated by young people and the adults who support them. By developing creative and adaptable approaches, we support young people to deal with immediate issues, whilst also addressing systematic patterns of behaviour that lead to violent and destructive expressions of conflict.
Skilled and trusted adults are essential in supporting young people to manage conflict better. We work with adult professionals in charities. community groups, with prison and police officers, foster parents, care workers and social workers as well as parents and carers. As adults better understand their own relationship to conflict, they become more confident in managing challenging behaviour and better equipped to build trusting relationships with young people.
