Kiala was launched in 2001 in Belgium. Today, the European network of Kiala can count on 7,200 Kiala Points and 1,050 Click & Collect Points distributed in 5 European markets (France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Spain).
In February 2012, Kiala joined the UPS group. Since then, the model has been deployed under the name of UPS Access PointTM in the UK and UPS Paket Shop in Germany. The network now includes over 11,700 collection points in 7 European markets. In 2014, Kiala & UPS will count on more than 13,000 collection points in their European network.
Kiala is Europe’s leading service provider of collection points networks for the delivery of parcels to end-consumers. The Kiala collection Points consist of local shops (newsagents, pressing, fleurist,...) where people can collect, pay for and/or return their parcels quickly, when it suits them best.
The network of Kiala Points is supported by a unique technological platform, which automates all transportation and delivery activities (Track & Trace, automatic notification upon parcel arrival, cash-on-delivery…).
Kiala is available at over 450 companies including the leading internet pure-players, multi-channel retailersand traditional mail order companies. Kiala also extended its service to new segments like the reverse logistic of electronic products .
