Stephenville ISD is located about seventy miles southwest of Fort Worth in Stephenville, Texas. Stephenville's leading industry is agriculture but area employers include manufacturing firms, education, retail and health care services. Tarleton State University is also located in Stephenville. Approximately 3700 students attend Stephenville Independent School District's six campuses.
