Westminster is a community of faith centered on the love of God, revealed in Christ Jesus, our Lord. At Westminster we believe that the God of all Creation is a God of love, and we believe this is true, because of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. In Jesus, God is saving the world, and as Christ’s disciples we are called to join in this saving work, keeping in mind that Jesus did not come to create a new religion, but rather a new community, centered on the love and grace of God. COME: All people are invited to come to our worship, join our mission, and participate in our educational opportunities. ENCOUNTER: Everything we do is about helping you encounter God. Sometimes this encounter happens through the wonder of music, other times it occurs during a conversation over coffee or in an education class. GROW: A faith in Jesus Christ is a living, moving, active relationship that propels us forward, shaping and forming us into the people God created us to be. SERVE: It is our hope that as your faith grows you will find a greater desire to serve others. With this in mind we try to make it as easy as possible to serve right here in Akron.
