Read Alliance works to accelerate the educational trajectory of early elementary students through the power of teens who provide one-to-one literacy tutoring in under-resourced communities. Success starts early - as early as kindergarten and first grade. Since 2000, Read Alliance has improved the reading skills of more than 15,000 striving young readers while at the same time provided meaningful paid employment and job experience to more than 13,000 teen leaders.
