Cardinal Engineering provides world-class marine engineering services to the US Navy, industry partners, and other US government agencies. Our core technical capabilities include structures, survivability, power and energy systems, hydrodynamics, signal processing, digital engineering, system and software development, and rapid prototyping. Principal efforts are focused on support of the complex and challenging life cycle of US Navy surface ships, carriers, submarines and submersibles, from research, requirements definition, concept formulation, design, development and test, to construction, operation and maintenance. We also provide technical assistance to the US Department of Energy for the design, development, test and deployment of marine renewable energy convertors, collaborating with private industry, national laboratories and test centers, and other government agencies.
Whether it’s powering the Navy’s surface fleet, equipping submarines to fight through conflicts, developing and applying structural standards and advanced analytical procedures, or application of signal processing to create products across a broad spectrum of visible and invisible waveforms, our engineering technology solutions are making a difference on a daily basis.
