Began in 1999 and with the support from former NCTU President Nan-Hung Kuo and other NTCU alumni, Formosoft become a leading international supplier of high quality virtual reality solutions for museums, aquariums, large shopping centers and commercial exhibition halls. Our advanced virtual reality technology includes proprietary 3DVR engine, bio-kinetic simulations, biological artificial intelligence simulations, VR peripheral equipment integration and real-time interactive entertainment applications. These are combined with 3D/VR Rapid Prototyping Authoring Tools and Real-time Interactive VR Systems to create real-time interactive VR application platforms. The scope of these systems include VR interactive entertainment and education systems, VR motion-sensing gaming platforms and various land, sea and air vehicle simulations.
Formosoft’s Research and Development team has years of experience in the development of VR technologies for marine life ecology simulators, and we are the world’s premier marine life simulation development team. The National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium drew on our team's exceptional technical capabilities in 2006 to create the world’s first “waterless aquarium”. Our innovative use of large-scale electronic VR exhibits attracted international attention.
